What information we collect 

When you submit a contact enquiry, we collect your name, email address and any message you submit. 

​For applications to events/activities, we may require additional information such as mobile telephone numbers and personal or business addresses.

 

What we do with your data 

 

When you submit the Contact form, we receive notification of your enquiry and use the details you have provided to respond to you. 

 

​Your enquiry and contact details are stored on the web platform’s messaging inbox and a copy is sent via email to the engagement team of the Centre for Agricultural Research Impact Ltd (trading name Ag.Impact, see address details above) to action/respond to you. This may involve sending your enquiry to other staff members of Ag-Impact if most appropriate to help you with your enquiry. 

If your contact message concerns one of our networks (e.g. Agricultural Universities Council UK, Farmer-Led Innovation Network) we may on occasion need to refer to an external contact in order to best support you with your enquiry. Where this is required, you will be informed of where your enquiry is being directed to (by reply). 

How we store your information 

 

​Your information will be stored on the web platform’s message service for 5 years unless removed sooner during regular deleting of records that have either been resolved or are no longer required. This deletion review will occur every 12 months at the latest in accordance with the organisation’s Data Protection policy. 

Your enquiry and data that are forwarded to email recipients for action will be stored on secure email servers held in the UK. These email services have a regular archiving process every 6 months. 

All further correspondence between you and the responder will also be stored unless no longer required and is deleted.
